The klick klack of a beautiful mountain

There are over 50 places on this planet named Beaumont in one fashion or another. Seven of them are in the US. One right down the road from where mail-artist Douglas Galloway lives.

I guess, this most interesting-looking piece of art he sent me was inspired by this very township because it’s called Beaumont Klick Klack:

I wonder what exactly the klick klack is referring to? Maybe the klick klack of women’s feet in high heels hurrying along the concrete sidewalks of Beaumont… okay, silly thought! – only Douglas really knows : )
